Awards & Reviews:

"90/100 ... Organic Shiraz from Mudgee. Unfiltered, unfined (or unrefined as the collar info label states). Smells primary, pretty raw, loaded with black fruit - kinda like the topping you get on a blueberry cheesecake. Light, juicy, small amount of unresolved co2 sits nicely, giving a gentle minerality and spritz to proceedings. Good going, not the most complex of wines, 'soif' in its presentation. Enjoyable." The Vinsomniac, Oct 2017

"90/100 ... Dark crimson to purple in the glass. A nose of blackberries and a touch of mocha. The palate is dry, showing aspects of black cherries and blackberries, along with hints of chocolate, anise and earthy notes. The wine has pleasantly chewy tannins and finishes firm." Noosa FM, Martin Field, Oct 2017

"90/100  A pretty colour that is more purple than red, the nose shows shiraz without the adornment of oak with spicy plum and raspberry fruit. The palate is juicy and primary fruited, with a well tuned balance between soft fruit tannin and generous acidity A dusting of pepper and herbs to finish with drying length. Some great winemaking on show here, drink over the shorter term." The Wine Reviewer, Nov 2017

"... 500 mL bottles are a great idea too for packaging considering preservative free wines won't last after opening. Unfined, unfiltered and zero sulphur. Dark berry fruit, a whiff of Christmas cake and blackcurrant too. Deep-seated chocolate seems to want to deflect attention as do some briary characters. Not overly dense through the mid-palate, it's spicy with a blanket of warmth thrown over the top. Quite taut, roast almonds are quite distinctive to finish." QWine, Oct 2017

"It’s a courageous and praiseworthy effort — deep red in colour and packed with juicy flavour and showing no sign of the oxidative character that so often dogs such attempts — and, as well as being preservative-free it’s also unfiltered and unfined. It’s about as natural as wine can get, and for good measure it’s made from a biodynamic vineyard. And that in itself brings an important distinction to the fore." Blue Mountains Record, John Rozentals, Nov 2017
